About Dr. Butollo:
- Degree in Biology and PhD degree in Microbiology (Berlin, Germany) and over 20 years of experience in research
- 5-year diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine (University of TCM Guangzhou, China, University of TCM Lisbon)
- Licensed TCM Practitioner approved by the German and Portuguese Health Ministry
- Regularly engagement in clinical practice at the acupuncture department of the University Hospital of the Guangzhou, China, one of the five biggest and most important in the country
- Special techniques:
- Dr. Jin´s Three-Needle-Technique for the treatment of muscular and neurological problems
- Treatment of digestive disorders: Combined approach of microbiological know how (PhD degree in microbiology), modern medical knowledge on the gut microbiome and Traditional Healing techniques
- Hands-on experience in integrating oriental and western medicine during 9 months internship at two medical offices in Germany (Haus- und Fachärztliche Gemeinschaftspraxis Zitzmann & Ludwig, Jena; and Praxis Dr. med. Josef Hummelsberger, München)
- Continuous education in Mind Body Medicine at the Center of Mind-Body Medicine, the Center of Integrative Medicine of the San Francisco Hospital (USA), The Science of Happiness group of the Berkely University (USA) and the Human Givens Institute in London (UK)
